CASE STUDY: Personalized Promo Product Sales Sheets

BACKGROUND

Our client ProPatch USA, specialises in custom imprinted bicycle accessories such as patch kits and levers, bike bottles and cages, bike locks, bike stickers, cycling jerseys, and other accessories. This case study will show how MyOwnVA increased their sales by creating personalized product sales sheets for their prospects and inactive clients.

CHALLENGES

ProPatch has been in business for over 20 years and is a recognized leader in the bike industry. As such they have saturated the market. Our challenge is getting new clients who never heard of the brand or are new to the industry. Some of the challenges we faced:

  • Potential customers could not visualize how the final product would look.
  • There was no system for communicating clearly with client’s customers.
  • There was no clear method for handling customer requests via social media, email, and phone, which resulted in delays in response.

PROJECT

ProPatch contracted MyOwnVA to bring in new clients as well as getting existing clients to reorder more often.

SOLUTIONS

  • Our designers, start the processes by creating a custom digital sales sheet template which we use to personalize for each one of the customer’s names, contact information, and logo, all added to the template.
  • First, a list is created of the prospective customers. Then the logos are located by our web research team.
  • The art is then sent to the design team who takes the logo along with client information to personalize the sales sheet. This included product images, client’s logo, pricing, and product information saving them as individual pdfs.
  • The customized sales sheet is then sent to appointment setters who contact the prospect via email, phone, Skype, to ensure the personalized sales sheet is received by the right person.

RESULT

We contacted over 2000 bicycle shops in the US. Of those, more than 1000 shops requested more information. This turned into 800 new orders. Within 3 weeks, ProPatch had more orders than they could handle.

In fact, we had to pause the campaign because they could not keep up with demand.
